NATURAL contemporary REMODEL
PETITE GRANDEUR
Located in Maple Grove, this outdated kitchen no longer met our clients' needs and was in desperate need of a refresh to enhance both function and style. They turned to Revival House to transform their space, and the result is a kitchen that seamlessly blends beauty and efficiency—all while staying within the original footprint. The finished design delivers exactly what they envisioned: a refined, highly functional space that feels both timeless and inviting.
The new kitchen reflects a deep appreciation for balance, organization, and good taste. Elegant, classic cabinetry from Decor painted in Edgecomb Gray, a soft beige with pink undertones, graces the perimeter, while the island, crafted from rift-cut oak with a rich brown stain, serves as a striking focal point. A waterfall quartz countertop extends over the island, providing ample seating and a touch of modern sophistication. White oak flooring throughout the main level ensures a cohesive flow, complementing the cabinetry’s warm tones beautifully.
A full-height, natural-toned zellige backsplash adds texture and visual interest to the sink wall while maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic. A neutral palette of whites, soft grays, and beiges keeps the space feeling light and airy, while custom details—like brass wire mesh inserts and honey bronze cabinet hardware—infuse a sense of understated luxury.
Functionality is at the heart of this kitchen’s design. Smart storage solutions ensure every inch is utilized efficiently, helping maintain a tidy and clutter-free space. Features like pull-out spice racks, dual larders with pocket doors flanking the range, and divided base drawers for easy organization make this kitchen effortlessly user-friendly. Thoughtful craftsmanship, such as a custom-routed cabinet door designed to match the island’s drawers, further elevates the space.
No detail was overlooked when selecting the appliances. Premium brands like Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, and Thermador were chosen to create a high-end, chef-worthy experience. Panel-ready appliances blend seamlessly into the cabinetry, preserving the kitchen’s sleek aesthetic. A six-burner range is framed by a striking, full-height quartz backsplash, while a Neolith-clad range hood adds an element of bold sophistication, making it a true focal point. For these coffee-loving homeowners, a dedicated coffee station was a must, complete with custom cabinetry for mugs and essentials, as well as a stylish and functional pull-out shelf for easy access.
By thoughtfully combining timeless design elements with practical enhancements, Revival House delivered a kitchen that is as beautiful as it is functional. While trends may come and go, this petite yet grand transitional kitchen is built to stand the test of time—ensuring effortless style and usability for years to come.
