That beautiful kitchen you saw in a magazine? It wasn’t created overnight! Gorgeous, functional spaces are the product of hard work and expertise from talented designers. But have you ever stopped to wonder just how these designers can take your ideas and inspiration and turn them into your dream space?
Today, we are going to give you an inside look into the minds of three of our Studio M Kitchen and Bath designers as they explain their processes and break down a few of their most recent projects.
These homeowners had a clear vision of the look they desired when they came to Kitchen & Bath designer, Danee, for a kitchen renovation. They loved the popular farmhouse style, which features comfortable, rustic elements that give warmth to the space, tastefully combined with more modern elements needed to support today’s families. With a little reconfiguration, thoughtful design, and collaboration with Carly from Studio M Interiors, the finished space is a beautiful nod to rustic modern design and packed full of storage that perfectly complement this busy family’s lifestyle.

When Olivia’s client came to her, she was looking to update her kitchen with a functional design that honored the memory of her late husband. To improve workflow, Olivia and her client agreed to remove an impeding wall that separated the kitchen and dining area and reconfigure the layout of the center island to maximize the space’s storage potential and seating. With the addition of a soft, light color pallet and personal touches inspired by the client’s husband, the finished space is both beautiful and functional. Olivia loved the way this space came together and was so inspired by story behind the design!
With a busy family that loves to craft and bake, these homeowners needed an efficient space with plenty of storage. In addition to opening the kitchen up to the living room, our kitchen and bath designer Danielle designed ample workspace into her plan while transforming problem areas into functional spaces that complement the family’s interests and lifestyle. Check out the desk area that was converted into a baking center! The new space is artfully crafted with classic black, white, and grey tones to create a look that is sleek and timeless. This is a project that Danielle thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish and she can’t wait for her clients to experience their new space.
