Fall is finally here and as we welcome crisp air, colorful leaves, and cozy bonfires, we also celebrate the start of football season and weekend watch parties!
Summertime is always spent enjoying the outdoors so when fall and winter roll around, we are thankful to have warm homes and cozy spaces to entertain.
When it comes to designing the perfect entertainment space for watching football, it’s important to consider function as well as style. If there are not enough seats for people to sit or room on the countertop for appetizers, your watch party won’t be much of a hit with family and friends!
Here are a few components we believe are essential to your entertainment area or lower level:
The TV is arguably the most important element in entertainment spaces. Because your TV is often the focal point in a room, you want the entertainment center to have a stylish design and be visible to viewers from various positions in the space.
Built-in cabinetry and bookcases are great for storage. They look beautiful and keep your open living spaces organized. A bar/refreshment area is a nice feature for serving snacks and beverages.
Comfortable seating. Once you determine how much space you have to work with, you’ll want to select your preferred seating style: a sofa, loveseat, a sectional, or bar stools.
Lastly, accessories such as accent throw pillows or a coffee table add color, texture and style to any space!
