The recipes sound easy. Will try one or two before the season is over. Thank you.
With the holidays quickly approaching, the Studio M Kitchen & Bath team took time to make some of our favorite holiday treats together and share them with the studio. Each team member submitted her favorite holiday recipe, and we've created recipe cards so that you can also enjoy making them with loved ones this season.
This was one of the recipes we made together at Studio M Kitchen & Bath Cookie Day. Manager Kelly Davert, who loves to cook and bake, submitted this recipe. She found it on the back of a Land O'Lakes butter container - which makes sense because these cookies are all butter! The cookies are light and lemony, and Kelly says she's always sharing this recipe. We can see why. We enjoyed making them and have a few additional tips to share with you concerning these cookies:
1. Leave the frosting out while the dough is in the fridge so that it stays soft.
2. These cookies really don't change much in the oven, so don't worry if they don't get brown.
3. The cookies are VERY delicate. Frost them right after they come out of the oven and leave them on the cookie sheet to cool.
We also made Peppermint Cheesecake dip, which was addicting! If you like cream cheese, you'll definitely like this dip. It's unique, delicious, and so simple - great for parties. We dipped fudge cookies in it but encourage you to be creative with your choice of dunker!
