ENGLISH PANTRY

The objective of this project was to create a space that would give the homeowners the much needed storage and prep space they desired. To do this, Michels Homes designed an addition that would seamlessly function as an extension to the kitchen, with space for a built-in pantry storage and extra prep space. Above all, the clients wanted this new space to resemble an Old English Pantry. Their dream became reality.

The refrigerator was moved to the new pantry area, opening up the main part of the kitchen and creating a more welcoming entry from the mud room/garage.  To keep the style of the new space consistent with the rest of their home and to give it the feel of an Old English Pantry, Dura Supreme’s Silver Mist finish was paired with knotty alder wood countertops and colonial-style pulls and fixtures.
